Financial Accountability

Where every dollar goes

Pathways Project is committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of donations and grants.

Our commitment

Pathways Project is committed to transparency and responsible stewardship of donations and grants. Financial information and annual reporting will be published as the organisation matures.

Donations are applied solely to further Pathways Project's charitable purposes and are not distributed to members, directors, private individuals or related commercial entities, except for legitimate expenses or services properly incurred in delivering the charity's programs.

How donations help

Every contribution flows directly into the activities that put Pathways in front of people who need it.

Program delivery

Running Pickle for Purpose, Talk Circle check-ins, mentoring sessions and community events.

Phone support infrastructure

Phones, callback systems and the systems behind a reliable support line.

Mentor training

Training, induction and ongoing development for Pathways mentors and volunteers.

Professional oversight

Engagement with qualified wellbeing and support professionals for safe program delivery.

Education resources

Harm-prevention materials, articles and resources made freely available to the community.

Administration

Administration directly connected to delivering Pathways' charitable purposes.

DGR endorsement status

Pathways Project is currently seeking Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement. Unless and until DGR endorsement is confirmed, donations may not be tax deductible. The ATO confirms that tax deductions only apply to gifts made to organisations with DGR status.

Gift fund statement

Pathways Project maintains appropriate governance and accounting processes to ensure donations are used only for its charitable purposes. Where required, deductible gifts will be received into a dedicated gift fund and applied solely for eligible charitable activities.

Related-party transactions

Pathways does not distribute funds, benefits or assets to directors, members, related individuals or related commercial entities, except for legitimate goods or services properly procured at arm's length in the ordinary course of delivering Pathways' charitable programs.

Future reporting

As Pathways grows, this page will host annual reports, financial statements and impact reports so donors, grant providers and the community can see exactly where funds have gone and what they achieved.
